Let's talk about Peter

Well in fact, i think his hair is the most important detail of him! [If we don't talk about his music of course ^^] It adds a certain..well...charm you know!(i could use another world but i won't do it just in case Peter visits this topic one day :-P) (To be honest, i'm absolutely fond of his SMILE ^^)

Pet' or Pete ? I don't know...But when i say "Pete" i have the impression i am talking about Pete Doherty...yeurk

Just saw an interview of him on Youtube (by a german journalist) and it was amazing (gonna post it somewhere on this site but don't know exactly where I can do it).
I'll translate it when I have the time. Just gonna tell you some things.
Did you know that:
* His grandfather's name also was Peter and that's why we can see CP on his ring.
* He was born and raised in Manhattan.
* He never dated someone he met online.
* He's saying that he's got some OCD and that for example, he can't let doors open in his appartement. Or it takes a while for him to leave his appartement. He's hoping these OCD won't evoluate.

What does OCD means ? This is the only thing i do not understand !

Or in it's entire form : Obsessive-compulsive disorder
( meaning in French " Troubles Obsessionnels Compulsifs " )

I'm very surprised because I realise I have the same OCD ! I never let a door open at home! Sometimes, when I see for example my mother let it open because the temperature is too high, I put myself in anger; i feel bad, stressed !


A Philosophy teacher of a friend told her last year people who use to let doors closed was people who wasn't affraid by death or by the coffin...Well i do not really know how to react in front of this interpretation !

I never heard that interpretation, so thanks for sharing ^^. Seems pretty logical thought. When the door is open, it's because you need air or space... So it's seems logical that people who close the doors are not afraid of being trapped somewhere.

I have some OCD too but it's not really the same. For example, when I'm in the kitchen, I have to open a door shelve (here we go again with the doors... Damn it!) even if I don't take anything. Or when I do shopping, I can not go home before I buy a pair of ear-rings (must have 30 pair of them ^^). Some crazy stuff like that

Actually, I was thinking about that because in the song he said : "I don't like Christmas".
Peter's father is gone in 1996 (By gone I mean he's dead... didn't wanted to write the word).

So I dangerously suppose that he doesn't like Christmas because he misses his dad everytime it comes by. Christmas is a very familly feast in U.S

so I think that it means he loves Christmas
